Diann Ramsey begins her first season as the Husson head field hockey coach in 2020. A versatile member of the HU Athletic Department, Ramsey is also the head coach of the softball team and serves as the Director of Compliance.
Ramsey spent the past eight seasons (2011-18) as a coach with the Bangor High School field hockey program. A former Eagle, Ramsey was a three-year letter winner as an infielder on the Husson softball team from 2009-11 and a two-year letter winner as a defender on the Husson field hockey team from 2009-10.
During her career, Ramsey helped Husson field hockey and softball capture five North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships (two field hockey and three softball). Off the diamond and the turf, she was named to the Spring NAC All-Academic Team in 2010 and 2011 and to the Fall NAC All-Academic Team in 2009 and 2010. In her first year as head softball coach, Ramsey led the Eagles to their second-straight NAC Championship and second-straight berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament behind a perfect game performance by NAC Pitcher of the Year, Jen Jones.
Ramsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Husson in 2011 and earned a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology and Exercise Science from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014.
A native of Otisfield, Maine, Ramsey attended Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
